A SELF-CONTAINED POCKET TRICK

WHICH CAN BE EXAMINED BY THE SPECTATORS

A simple frame, made in teak, two wooden plaques (one light-coloured, the other dark, and both with four small holes drilled through them. A coloured shoelace completes the props used in this mystifying little effect.

A spectator is given A FREE CHOICE of either the light or dark wooden plaques supplied with this effect, both of which are then slipped into the frame. The coloured shoelace is threaded backwards and forwards through the four small aligned holes in the frame, thus binding the two plaques securely together. However, in spite of this, as the performer holds the frame in front of him, the spectators are surprised to see THE SELECTED PLAQUE slowly rising out of the top of the frame, MYSTERIOUSLY PENETRATING THE SHOELACE which is still threaded through the plaque remaining in the frame.

Although the frame is gimmicked, the design of THRU ‘N’ THRU allows the props to be examined and makes the effect simple to work.

The measurements of the frame are 4.65 inches x 2.65 inches.
