I first met Alan at an IBM convention in Washington DC ca 1970’s. I fell in love with the then hand painted mini masterpeices, I bought a few and when I came back an hour later to buy more, he was sold out. This was opening day!. He was utterly surprised, I wasn’t. I knew then that his mini masterpieces would become cherished collector’s items.
